You call it culinary team building, we call it collaborative cooking.  Either way we’re speaking the same language.  Our thought is that cooking was never intended to be a competitive sport and neither is work.  

Cooking is about the magic of transformation; the emergence of a beautiful, delicious, nourishing meal that is complete and satisfies in a way that no one individual component alone could.  

Similarly, the best way to teach skills that translate to how top performing teams get work done done is to cook collaboratively, not competetively.

So we call our culinary team building events, Collaborative Cooking.

With a Life At The Table collaborative cooking event, participants are divided into teams for a hands-on cooking experience guided by professional chefs, followed by a tasty meal that has been collaboratively prepared.

Each team will prepare 1 recipe: Entree, side, salad, dessert.

Each team will prepare enough food for the entire goup.

Appeitzer will be provided while participants cook.

The group will collectively share their meal.


Fun and relaxed atmosphere.

 Teams enjoy getting to know each other outside of the work environment.

Refresh a sense of camaraderie for teams that have a history of working together.

Provides a strong team foundation for new teams.



2.5-Hour Event

Led by trained chefs.

Multiple menus to select from.

Taught in a professionally equipped kitchen.

Optional Add-On:  Facilitated team building discussion and goal setting.



Food and equipment necessary to prepare the menu.

Plates, utenils, etc. needed to enjoy the meal.
