Slow Cooker Pizza

The Lifetime Gift

Slow Cooker Pizza.

When I was a kid my mother collected S&H Green Stamps

The stamps were given out at the grocery store, based on the amount of her purchase.  When she collected several books of stamps my mom made a trip to the S&H Redemption Store.  This is where she exchanged her stamps for a treasured household item, like a toaster or blender.

Think of your life like an S&H green stamp book. Everyday you collect experiences like stamps that stick to you. On a good day your stamps might be joy, success, and gratitude.  On a not so good day, someone cuts you off in traffic and you collect a frustration stamp.

Your kids collect stamps too.

It’s just life.

Your Dining Table Is The S&H Redemption Center of the Home

Here’s why sharing a meal at home is so important:  Your dining room table is just like the S&H Redemption Center.

When you gather with family and friends to share a meal, you redeem your stamps.  The gift you receive is the exchange of all your negative, unwanted stamps for nourishing stamps like belonging, acceptance, and appreciation.

When your life book is filled with THESE stamps you are a better person at home and at work who seeks the best for the community.

Make Time For The Table By Using Your Slow Cooker

Make time to share the table in your home by planning ahead.  One way to do this is to dust off your slow cooker and make something fun – like Slow Cooker Pizza!

It’s everything that makes pizza great – sauce, sausage, and cheese using pasta as a substitute for the crust.    This was a favorite in my home during my girls’ growing up years and brings back fond memories when we speak of it today.

Sharing A Meal Is The Gift That Will Last A Lifetime

This easy meal will leave plenty of time for the gift you receive at the dinner table – the strong bonds of family and friendship that will last a lifetime.
