Meet Life At The Table
Our chefs are the best in the business! (We’re a Texas based business so you have to expect we’d be a bit braggadocios.)
All our chefs have received formal training and know their way around the kitchen. They can cook, teach, entertain, and answer all your burning cooking questions while they do it. The cherry on top is this: each of our chefs bring their own unique, fun, charming, and engaging personality to all Life At The Table cooking classes and events.
Give us a ring-a-ling or send us a note to book your Life At The Table cooking class, culinary team building, or speaking event today.
Vision and Mission
History
Chef Sandra Lewis, CCMP
Chef Sandra Lewis is the founder of Life At The Table, a virtual culinary school with a mission to empower people to cook fearlessly, eat for better health, and rediscover the joy of gathering at the table.
After more than 20 years in corporate leadership, Sandra faced a “now or never” moment. She sold her house, packed her belongings in storage, and enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu Dallas, where she earned her AAS in Culinary Arts with honors.
As a single mom raising two daughters, Sandra made dinner around the table a nightly ritual. That rhythm of connection shaped her belief that cooking and sharing a meal is the foundation of healthier people, stronger teams, and more connected communities.
Today, Sandra leads engaging, high-impact employee wellness programs and culinary team building events that leave participants inspired long after the meal is over. She also hosts A Savory Moment, a weekly podcast and radio show, and is an adjunct instructor at Dallas College.
A Certified Culinary Medicine Professional (CCMP) and keynote speaker, Sandra inspires transformation at the table—where food fuels the body, conversation nourishes the soul, and community strengthens the spirit.
Vision
Life At The Table’s vision is to be the leading champion for the simplest and yet most powerful way to transform the lives of individuals, organizations, and the world – sharing a meal at the table.

History of Life At The Table
Chef Sandra Lewis founded Life At The Table, Inc. in 2007 with a simple but powerful belief: life is richer, healthier, and more connected when people cook and share meals together.
What began as a passion project alongside her corporate career became a full-time calling in 2014. Since then, more than 12,000 people have experienced Life At The Table’s programs, learning how to confidently answer the daily question, “What’s for dinner?”—a question that profoundly shapes health, happiness, and connection at home and at work.
Under Sandra’s leadership, Life At The Table has grown into a trusted partner in the corporate wellness and team-building space. Programs include hands-on cooking skills training, virtual and in-person culinary team building, employee engagement workshops, and dynamic keynotes that weave together food, health, and inspiration.
At its heart, Life At The Table is about more than cooking. It’s about reviving the joy of gathering, building stronger teams and families, and transforming mealtime into a source of well-being, productivity, and community.
