Ingredients

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Whisk together egg, buttermilk, and melted butter.
- Whisk dry ingredients together.
- Add the dry ingredients to the buttermilk mixture and whisk just until combined.
- Ladle 2 oz. of batter onto a hot griddle or cast iron skillet.
Notes
Can be made ahead and gently rewarmed in the microwave or oven for a quick breakfast.
