Goat Cheese and Sage Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. goat cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Sherry
  • 1 tablespoon sage, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • kosher salt
  • 24 crimini mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1/4 cup toasted breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Combine goat cheese, Sherry, sage, and garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Stir until combined.
  4. Taste and season with kosher salt.
  5. Arrange cleaned and stemmed mushrooms on a sheet tray.
  6. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon of goat cheese into the center of each mushroom.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  8. Sprinkle the mushrooms with the toasted breadcrumbs as a garnish and to provide a bit of a crunch to each bite.
