Elevate any salad or dish with this bold and simple homemade garlic vinaigrette. Fresh, flavorful, irresistibly delicious, and easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic paste (see directions in post above)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoons dried thyme (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the red wine vinegar, garlic paste, Dijon mustard, and dried thyme (if using), in a small bowl.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the vinaigrette is smooth and emulsified. Optionally, all all the ingredients to a jar, seal the lid, and shake vigorously until emulsified.
  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning with kosher salt, if needed.

Notes

Garlic lovers will often add more garlic than a recipe calls for – go ahead! Add as much garlic to this vinaigrette as your heart desires.
